King Road 4 lanes

Before Loomis became a town the county had King Road planned as a 4 lane road. What do you think? Should it be 4 lanes in the future or keep it 2 lanes as it is now?

It should go to 4 lanes if they plan on putting an interchange at King Rd & Interstate 80.

Was that the reason for the plan to begin with?

Please provide more information.

Last month Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed Assembly Bill 1358, the Complete Streets Act, making California the first state in the nation to ensure that all local streets and roads accommodate the needs of bicyclists, pedestrians and transit riders, as well as motorists. The bill was authored by San Francisco Assembly Member Mark Leno and co-sponsored by AARP California. Do the above and keep it 2 lanes.

So it doesn't have anything to do with the bridges getting raised?

If there going to do that they might as well turn it into 4 lanes.
