Should Loomis Allow 6 ft fences and walls?

The Town of Loomis will have a ordinance which would allow residents to have a 6 ft soild wall 3 feet in from their proptery line in the front yard. Do yo usuppor tthis idea?

No, of course not. Can't a person who thinks reasonably figure this out? Imagine what our town would look like if everyone did this? Everyone won't do it, but just imagine it in a few highly visible areas. I am all for property rights, but you have to draw a line at what is reasonable--we don't let people hang there laundry out in their front yards. Oh wait, maybe that's a bad example. One test would be to ask ourselves 'what other municipalities allow this?'. Are there any?

Oh lovely, can we also embed broken bottles into the top of our cinder block walls? And just think of all the nice graffiti murals that we will get for free!

Why are you guys still talking about this issue?

This should have been resolved a long time ago?

Another good example for why Loomis Town Council needs term limits.
