Now what for the Loomis School District

Now that the school bond has failed again, what do you think the Loomis school Board should do?
Not try again?
Re-think the list of projects and only proposed those that are necessary for the health an safety of the students?
Other ideas

With the LFPD assessment passing and then the LUSD asking for a bond it was really bad timing on the LUSD's part. Who's going to want to pass a school bond when we just got hit with a fire assessment?

With the LUSD merging with schools left and right, how can they even think about asking for a school bond when they can't even take care of the ones they already have? All the taxpayers see is the trend of more school bonds coming down the pike with all of the upgrades that Penryn & Ophir Schools are going to need. Can't they get money from another pot? We already pay a lot in taxes that go to the Department of Education. What the hell are they doing with all of that money?

They've got classrooms that are needing major repairs, but both Placer & Franklin Schools both have brand new multi-purpose rooms just sitting there. They have got their priorities all mixed up from the get-go. They should have updated all of they classrooms; Placer, Franklin, Loomis, and then did the multi-purpose rooms. Take of the true needs first then start working on the wants. The logic of prioritizing in the LUSD is half-ass backwards.

That's just my two-cents worth and worth everything it cost you.

Don't worry; there are two more elections this year.
They'll be back with another one, guaranteed!

They've put the school bonds on the ballot so often that they've probably got it down to a cookie cutter technique.

Placer & Franklin won't be happy until they get their classrooms/bathrooms upgraded.

There needs to be a leader that can work with the proponents & opponents and take the concerns from both parties into consideration in forming a consenus. The LUSD keeps trying to pass bonds each time, but I don't think that they really take any of the comments into consideration. Each side just gets defensive about comments being make instead of taking it as constructive cristizm and learning from it.

Maybe this is part of the problem that the Loomis Town Council has had also.
