That would be awesome. They have great food and it is a reason for people to come downtown. Is it true High-Hand is opening a restaurant too?
This could be a big boost to the downtown. It is an opportunity that I hope the town does not squander. Show some leadership town council! Set aside some budget for downtown improvements and promotion! You can do it! Don't blow it!
If Eppies goes into that corner, where will the patrons park?
This has been part of the problem with the downtown area.
Eppies strikes me as a high volume type restaurant. To bad a restaurant like Cafe Zorro's couldn't go in there.
I understand that the rent is too high for Zorro's to move into that place. This is another problem facing the downtown businesses. The high rent is killing them, and the building are not that new. It would maybe be worth if there was more traffic thru the downtown area.
Now that the Council is looking to approve the aread behind Raley's that means even less traffic for the old downtown area.

I love the idea of the HBG being open, but we already have a coffee shop - The Harvest Grill. Now wouldn't their business be effected by this?

They are just getting killed off slowly.
There is a huge parking facility right across the street--maybe you've seen it--it's the one with all the parking in it.
I guess that parking lot is O.K., but if you're handicapped it really stinks!
