While most cities in Placer County have a redevelopment agency, Loomis does not.
There seems to be no intrest in Loomis to form one.

There is interest--just none from our sit-on-their hands town council.
But it makes sense when you think about it. Why would we want to fix up our junky downtown when we can keep it the way it is:
-nothing to do
-patches of weeds for landscaping
-blighted buildings
-not enough trees
-no incentive to start a business
-no incentive to invest
Maybe the Loomis Town Council is really what is need of redevelopment?
If you are in favor of term limits for the Loomis Town Council, talk to your neighbors & friends.
This might be the only way that we can get an effective Town Council elected.
I appreciate the better lighting in the street lights at Horseshoe Bar & Taylor Roads.
