My thoughts exactly. These endless comments trashing the concil are just plain rude. I for one am grateful for the information you post on your blog.

As it is few people run for the Town Council, So more could if they choose.
Some of the matters such as housing, economic development, and land use require a certain amount of experience and knowledge. Some people might have this other gain it with years on the council if they choose to do so.
The hardest thing is to ge tthe word out to the voters about a person's qualifications. In the last election a great deal of money was spent by one slate to get thier people in. Make it hard for a new person to get elected.
New ideas and methods are always encouraged.
By this statement, I'm still not quite sure if you want other canidates to run or not. It sounds like you are encouraging & discouraging at the same time.
